Fortunately, two drugs, dasatinib (Sprycel®) and nilotinib
(Tasigna®), have been effective in clinical trials for the
treatment of people who stop responding to imatinib. These drugs
work against the same abnormal protein targeted by imatinib, but in
different ways.
