Frequently Asked Questions
2. Are there many cancer survivors who are older?
Yes. About 60 percent of the cancer survivors in the United States are over the age of 65. Twenty percent are aged 80 or older. Many people are living longer with cancer because of major advances in diagnosis and screening, as well as better treatments for many types of cancer.
